2008 SummerSounds Concerts

Each year, the Center for the Arts, in partnership with the City of Manassas, the Manassas Museum, and the Harris Pavilion offers a series of free concerts. The popular SummerSounds concerts are scheduled on alternate Saturday evenings throughout the summer. Bring your chairs, blankets, and picnics to enjoy these free concerts with your friends and neighbors!

All concerts begin at 6:30 pm.

    June 21 - Manassas Community Chorale
                     (Harris Pavilion)

    July 4:  HMI presents "Point 
                Blank" from 4-8:30 p.m. and     
                fireworks at 9:15 p.m.

    July 19 - Linda Lay & Springfield Exit
                    (Manassas Museum Lawn)

    August 2 - Luis Garay Percussion World
                       (Manassas Museum Lawn)

    August 16 - Washington Balalaika 
                          Society Orchestra
                            (Harris Pavilion)

    August 30 - Washington Scottish Pipe Band
                           (Manassas Museum Lawn)

In event of inclement weather or extreme heat, concerts will be moved to the Harris Pavilion at 9116 Center Street, Manassas, VA 20110.
